How It Works
Work Session
25 minutes (default)
Focus on your task without distractions. Work with full concentration.
Short Break
5 minutes (default)
Take a brief rest. Stretch, get water, or take a short walk.
Long Break
15 minutes (default)
After 4 work sessions, take a longer break to fully recharge.
Using the Timer
Starting a Session
Click the "Start" button to begin a work session. The timer will count down from your set work duration.
Pausing and Resuming
Pause the timer if you need to step away. Resume when you're ready to continue.
Skipping Phases
Skip to the next phase if needed. The timer will automatically adjust to show the correct time.
Focus Mode
Enter fullscreen focus mode for distraction-free work. Click the maximize icon to enter focus mode.
Customizing Settings
Customize your Pomodoro timer to match your workflow:
Work Duration
Length of work sessions (default: 25 minutes)
Short Break
Length of short breaks (default: 5 minutes)
Long Break
Length of long breaks (default: 15 minutes)
Sessions Until Long Break
Number of work sessions before a long break (default: 4)
Auto-Start Breaks
Automatically start break timers when work sessions end
Auto-Start Work
Automatically start work sessions when breaks end
Sound Notifications
Play sounds when timers complete
Daily Goal
Target number of Pomodoro sessions per day
